Case Studies

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston hosts multiple voice, video, data, security and wireless applications that are internal to the facility. It is crucial that this communications infrastructure remain secure because of the volume of confidential information it contains. The bank hired Comm-Tract to design and implement a secure network.

Comm-Tract worked under a tight security clearance to deploy the network and install applications that can be accessed from within the bank’s building.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston now enjoys a secure and seamless communications infrastructure.

Interactive Data Corporation (IDC), owner of a large-scale enterprise network, needed to redesign their communications infrastructure to carry higher bandwidth demands and facilitate frequent moves, adds, and changes required for systems, departments, and personnel.

Comm-Tract’s 10-year relationship and familiarity with IDC’s day-to-day operations made them a natural choice to implement a massive telecommunications infrastructure retrofit that included over 800 new voice, data, and video outlets.

ABI LAB recently completed the Bio-Incubator building in Natick, MA. Comm-Tract provided the design, engineering, and installation of the cabling and fiber optic infrastructure which supports the wireless access systems, security systems, data, and media requirements of the sophisticated applications utilized by the Biotech early stage companies who are tenants of ABI LAB.
